This furnace is able to melt 25 lbs of bronze in about 30 minutes. It has a maximum capacity of 30 lb. of bronze or 10 lb. of aluminum (a #10 crucible just fits). The pictures here are from a class I did where we built 3 furnaces. Think of this as a recipe for building the furnace, there are many variations you may use depending on our skills, the tools in your shop and availability of materials. If you follow certain basic principles the furnace will work just fine.
Ezburner Review
Basic Principles for Building a Furnace
1) A furnace body is mainly an enclosure to hold the heat that the burner puts out. The steel shell does not hold in any heat, it is the refractory that holds in the heat (the lining inside the furnace shell). The body could be made of screen and it will work the same, it’s only purpose is to hold the refractory in place.
2) The burner should come in at an angle (see diagram #1) so the flame forms a vortex or whirlwind around the crucible. This distributes the heat evenly and does not overheat the side of the crucible.
Can EZBurner create audio DVDs playable on any DVD player and if so can it do so at 96 kHz/24-bit 5.1-channel audio track as well as a 192 kHz/24-bit stereo audio track as in the DVD-A specification? I could not find any reference to this on their web site.

Paul B, no it cannot author Video-DVD discs at all let alone custom Video-DVD discs with audio only content and variable bitrate fixed frame video tracks. You would have to author the DVD folder structure in a differnt program and then burn them with this or the 'different program' itself.

Biographyend. Paul B, 'Can EZBurner create audio DVDs playable on any DVD player?' Yes. MP3 DVDs. The program now burns MP3 at 44KHz 2 channels 192kbps. The program does not make DVD menus with chapters but audio MP3 DVDs will play on any DVD player.

TK, Your answer appears to be in conflict with the description of the software: 'EZBurner burns CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs with audio, video and data', ' burn video DVDs and Blu-ray discs'. Maybe the manufacturer can clarify?

Keith, it BURNS video DVD folders but does not AUTHOR these folders or convert non VOB video files into VOB video files or create DVD-Video menus, chapters sound tracks add subtitle tracks. Hringnun. The manufacturer will not clarify as it's plainly obvious if you try it.

I think Paul B asked about this format - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Audio
It's not your typical video DVD.

Alessandro Ferri, that is NOT what Paul was writing about 192kbps is an MP3 stream bitrate, Paul was refering to sample rate of 192KHz where you are refering to mere Sub-CD quality 44KHz which should really be 44.1KHz and the sample bit depth is only 16bit not the 24bit Paul is enquiring about. MP3 CD or MP3 DVD are always LESS than CD quality and a compromise.

temp10min, I think you are probably right but the answer about the capability of this program is the same NO it does not author DVD-Audio or DVD-Video. I read on a some sites that DVD-Video does in itself support 192KHz sampling and upto 24bit PCM so it might be possible to fabricate a single slide slideshow for each track and encode the sound track at 24bit PCM at the desired sample rate. dvdauthor.exe and mencoder.exe should be able to do it.

Alessandro Ferri, that is not what the Original Poster was asking for! MP3 DVD's are worse than CD-Audio discs They want 24bit not 16bit sampling A to D and D to A conversion and 192KHz sample rate NOT 44.1KHz sample rate.
This program cannot do that, not even close.

TK, Maybe I am wrong about EZBurner specs but it must burn in the right format. I use it and I create MP3 DVDs for friends and it plays anywhere with high quality.

Alessandro Ferri, MP3 CD's and MP3 DVD's are worse than CD-AUDIO quality because MP3 is a lossy compression method. The Original Poster wanted to know about a DVD-Audio which is potentially studio quality NOT MP3 DVD which is just a series of MP3 files burned to a data DVD.
MP3 DVD's do not play anywhere.. they only play their low quality MP3 files on devices that support playback of MP3 on data DVD's. Modern players may do it but it is NOT part of the DVD-Video spec so ordinary DVD-Video players do not have to be able to play them.

TK, OK I see. I assume you mean embedding super high quality MP3 audio into TS format. Do you know any burner that handles this? Does the same apply for Blu-ray? Thanks for the information.

Alessandro Ferri, It's nothing to do with MP3 audio.. MP3 is inherantly sub-CD sound quality, it was designed that way. Please go read the page temp10min posted in comment https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ezburner-1-0-1-41-4/#comment-656518
That should explain everything. Except how bad MP3 is compared to CD or Studio master recordings are.
