The Safety Letterbox Company manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of freestanding mail and parcel delivery boxes. Freestanding mailboxes are generally fitted on to fixed support stands or tables, or can be freestanding fitted to the floor if the size of the item is large enough.

The advantage of freestanding mailboxes is that they can be located wherever suitable, and do not require the preparation of a wall like wall mounted, wall recessed or through the wall mailboxes would.

Freestanding mailboxes can be located both internally and externally to suit, with support stands available in polyester powder coated paint or stainless steel finishes.

Freestanding Options
– Support Stands

Mailboxes can be fitted to support stands allowing the mailboxes to be installed at any location as required. The support stands are positioned at either end of the bank of mailboxes and are attached to the main unit through fixing holes in the sides of the bank.

– Support Tables

Banks of mailboxes can be fitted onto table supports that allow them to be freestanding and not rely on mounting or recessing into a wall. Mailboxes fitted onto table supports are then anchored to a rear wall through a series of pre-punched fixing holes in the rear panel of the bank of mailboxes.

Table supports can be polyester powder coated to match the design of the mailboxes, or can be clad to create a feature point in the location.

– Support Pedestals

Banks of mailboxes can be fitted onto support pedestals that allow for the items to be situated wherever suitable. Support pedestals are manufactured using aluminium and polyester powder coated to suitable the design of the project.

Depending on the configuration and size of the bank of mailboxes, the quantity of support pedestals required varies ensuring that the pressure and weight of the bank of mailboxes is catered for.
